Inside/Outside/In was developed as a performance for Dan Graham the gallery, to engage with the artist Dan Graham’s Performer/Audience/Mirror, originally performed in 1975. While the original formal structure of Performer/Audience/Mirror is maintained, in this iteration the artist’s subjective reflections on myth, memory, history, and desire mingle with her direct engagement with the audience. The gallery is extended into the street with an arrangement of chairs for the audience.
